The best restaurants in Malaga according to the Macarfi Guide

Last Monday 23rd February 2026, the Macarfi guide presented its latest entries featuring the best restaurants in Spain, at a gala held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. In this 11th edition, Málaga leads the ranking of the Top 15 in Andalusia with Bardal, helmed by Benito Gómez in Ronda. Furthermore, a third of the regional list is comprised of establishments from the province of Málaga.

In addition to Bardal, the list includes Kaleja (6) and Palodú (13), both in Málaga city; Skina (10), in Marbella; and Los Marinos José (15), in Fuengirola. Rounding out the Andalusian top 15 are Noor (2), Aponiente (3), Lú Cocina y Alma (4), Bagá (5), Mesón Sabor Andaluz (7), Dama Juana (8), Vandelvira (9), Cañabota (11), La Costa (12), and Choco (14).

The Macarfi Guide, created by Manuel Carreras Fisas, was launched in October 2015 as an urban project focused on Barcelona, ​​highlighting the city’s most interesting restaurants. Eleven years later, the guide has evolved to cover all of mainland Spain for the first time, expanding its reach from 8 to 15 autonomous communities.
